Company Location: 9422, Wallace Crescent, Surrey, BC, V3V 1V6 Position: Drywall Installer Number of positions: 3 Terms of employment: Full-Time, Permanent Salary: $34.62 per hour Anticipated Start Date: As soon as possible Work location(s): Candidates are required to work at various job locations in Surrey (BC) and other areas in Lower Mainland (BC). Job Responsibilities · Read and interpret blueprints and drawings, perform calculations, and prepare layouts. · Measure, cut, shape, assemble, and join materials made of wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel, and other materials · Finish surfaces of woodwork in houses and buildings, using hand tools and paneling. · Work on new projects remodels, or additions to existing wooden structures. · Build foundations, install floor beams and subflooring, build walls, and install partitions. · Fit and install windows, doors, stairs, moldings, and hardware. · Supervise other construction workers. Position Requirements · Completion of Secondary School · Completion of a 3-4 years apprenticeship program in a relevant trade or a Minimum of 3 years of experience in the trade is required. · Ability to communicate in English How to apply?
