The candidates must be active, independent, and eager to work as a team. Position Details: Company: Dry Link Construction Ltd. Company Location: 14425 58 Avenue, Surrey BC - V2S 1Y3 Position: Drywall Installer Number of positions: 3 Job Type: Permanent, Full-Time Salary: $27.50 per hour Start date: As soon as possible Work locations(s): Surrey, BC and various other job sites in the Lower Mainland area (BC) as per the company's contracts with its clients. Job duties: · Measure cut and fit drywall sheets for installation on walls and ceilings. · Set up and install drywall sheets to wooden or metal studs. · Organize work procedures for installation and removal. · Cut and install metal corner beads to protect exterior corners. · Fill joints, nail indentations, holes, and cracks with joint compound. · Tape the joints using a taping machine and embed tape in the compound. · Smooth out the excess compound and allow the coat to dry. · Install suspended metal ceiling grids and place panels to form acoustical and coffered ceilings. · Follow all the safety procedures on the work site. Job requirements: · Completion of secondary school required. · Completion of an Apprenticeship program in the trade or a Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar trade is required. · Effective communication skills.
