Reports To: Retail ManagerLocation: Unity, SK POSITION SUMMARY:Reporting to the Retail Manager, the Operations Lead is responsible for working with the retail team to ensure successful day-to-day operations. Site duties include full working knowledge and operation of the Dry Fertilizer Blending Plant, Chemical Shed Storage, Racketeer System and all other facilities. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:Work with all areas of the business location to ensure a professional customer experience in an accurate and timely fashionEnsure that health, safety, and security policies are adhered toFull administrative duties related to all areas of the retail businessReceive incoming inventory, ensuring all paperwork is properly tracked and processedAll out-going product orders follow protocol with correct documentation in placeMaintenance of location to ensure the yard and equipment meets company standardsInventory is tracked and entered into accounting system as per company proceduresOperation of Dry Fertilizer Blending Facility including loading into bin storage or out loading to customersOperation of seed treating system (Storm seed treater)Operation of forklift for shipping/receiving products via totes and palletsOperations of safe shipping/receiving liquid fertilizer and herbicidesOther Duties as Required EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:Previous work within the Agricultural field is an assetBasic shipping/receiving experience including inventory tracking and enteringSome experience with Ranko blending systemExperience in a chemical warehouse and AWSA knowledgeValid seed treater certification (Storm seed treater) OTHER REQUIREMENTS:Mechanically inclined and able to diagnose and repair minor issuesSelf-motivated team player with a positive attitudeFamiliar with, and able to issue/review documentation with accuracy; load-out tickets, shipping/receiving paperwork, and other administrative duties as neededEffective communicator ensuring customer needs are being met and all team members are kept updatedFamiliar with The Rack as a company along with products/services availableMust live near or in the town of Unity, Saskatchewan Interested candidates should click the 'Apply to this Position' icon to apply!
