Job Description
THE ROLE:
We are looking for a seasoned, hardworking, self-starter, and effective Sales Engineer with proven experience in carrying and exceeding quotas and a passion for selling technology solutions to senior executives and technical decision makers. You will be responsible for selling into new prospects, including providing product demonstrations and customizing our offerings to fit their needs, as well as farming back into existing customers to ensure high renewal and customer satisfaction levels. Measures of success include new customer acquisition rates, renewal rates, up-selling, cross-selling, customer satisfaction and contribution to overall sales team and business success. Reporting directly to the VP of Sales and Partnerships you will carry out the following duties and responsibilities.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Support sales executives with solution selling into prospect account base.
· Partner with sales executives to plan, prepare and execute strategic deals in complex sales cycles.
· Successfully match customer pain/requirements to proposed solutions, and tailor our proposals, architecture and implementation to meet their unique requirements.
· Create and deliver powerful presentations and customized product demos that clearly communicate our company's products and services, and the uniqueness of the value proposition to customers.
· Manage all technical aspects of RFP / RFI responses.
· Effectively communicate client needs to the R&D teams for future product enhancements.
· Collect and document competitive intelligence about products.
· Helping customers who have problems with installed products and recommending improved or upgraded solutions.
· Soliciting and logging client feedback and evaluating the data to create new sales and marketing strategies to target customers.
· Identifying areas for improvement and communicating these issues as well as possible solutions to upper management.
· Model the financial business case associated with each sales opportunity
