Location of Work: 927 Wellington St. W., Ottawa, ON, K1Y 2X5 Title of Position: Small Engine Mechanic (NOC 72429) Language: English Vacancies: 1 Type of Position: Permanent, full time Job Duties: · Check and inspect Cooper's full range of equipment for proper performance. · Review work orders and discuss work to be performed with supervisor. · Inspect and test engines and other mechanical components using test devices to diagnose and isolate faults. · Adjust, repair, or replace mechanical or electrical system parts and components using hand tools and equipment. · Test and adjust repaired equipment for proper performance. · Perform scheduled maintenance service on equipment. · Advise customers on work performed and general condition of equipment. · Clean, lubricate and perform other routine maintenance work on equipment. · Follow daily line ups and execute scheduled work in accordance with health and safety standards. · Maintain safe, clean, respectful working environment. Skills Required: · Good organizational skills and the ability to work independently. · Availability to be on-call when needed. · A willingness to work overtime and weekends (when required). · Ability to work in a fast-paced environment. · Must be able to lift up to approximately 50 lbs.
