Flynn Canada Ltd. is currently recruiting skilled Metal Roofers NOC 73110 (commercial) to fill 5 F/T vacancies in the Ottawa and surrounding area (1655 Comstock Rd, Gloucester, ON K1B 5L2). Other locations across Ontario will be required based on awarded projects. The position of "Metal Roofer" is a skilled labour role, in which the Metal Roofer works within a team, reporting to the site foreman to lay a variety of roofs and siding on industrial, institutional and commercial buildings. Responsibilities include: · Install, repair and replace of Architectural Metal Flashing and Cap Flashings · Install, repair and replace of Architectural Cladding applications, including Steel Roofing and Wall finishes, Composite Aluminum Wall finishes, Architectural Rain Screen Systems, Composite Aluminum Wall panels and Custom Zinc or Copper applications · Set up and use rigging and hoisting equipment · Install, fabricate and repair metal roofs using hand and power tools · Install Architectural sheet metal products according to specifications and building codes · Provide training to more junior level, less experienced workers
