Location of Work: 1 Ceasar Road, Sudbury, ON P3E5P3 Title of Position: Truck and Coach Mechanic (NOC 72410) Language: English Vacancies: 1 Type of Position: Permanent, full time Unionized: Yes Job Duties: · Repair trucks, trailers and/or power equipment. · Ensure motors, motor vehicles, automotive systems, and related components run perfectly. · Perform checkup of automotive parts and components and replace if needed. Do routine check-ups for clients. · Test out units and make sure they work according to standards. · Look over work orders from clients and meet with manager to discuss any work that was done. · Document all repairs on work orders or computer system. Fill out appropriate inspection sheets when required. Ensure all parts are marked on a daily basis. · Communicate with operations and supervisory staff on availability of equipment. · Must maintain a clean and tidy work environment and equipment, both interior and exterior. · Maintain compliance with all company policies and procedures. · Perform related duties as assigned by supervisor. Skills Required: · Manual dexterity, aptitude for truck maintenance and repair. · A team player, reliable, able to prioritize and work safely. · Ability to work as efficiently as possible with minimal supervision. · Ability to meet deadlines, while maintaining a positive attitude and providing exemplary customer service. · Ability to carry out assignments to completion within instructions and standard practices. · Abide by shop procedures and company policies. · Familiar with open pit and mine operations as well as aggregates. · Must be able to obtain Driving License. · Must be able to obtain Trade Certificate. Experience Required: · 3 years to 5 years of relevant experience. Education Required: · Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or a Vocational program or equivalent experience.
