About the jobThe Go-to-Market Operations (GTM) team ensures Google's complex and ever-evolving Ads business runs smoothly. We are instrumental in setting go-to-market strategy, and ensuring flawless execution and operations against the strategy. We have teams embedded in each of the major Ads business areas as well as global teams that work across the business areas. Team members are investigative and strategic, with a pragmatic sense of how to get things done. As a GTM Sales Strategy and Operations Lead, you will be the “Chief Operating Officer” of the Media and Entertainment business, partnering closely with the Industry Director, and will lead sector-wide or national projects to improve the operations of the Large Customer Sales organization. The US base salary range for this full-time position is $142,000-$211,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Responsibilities • Partner with Sales Leadership to develop go-to-market sales strategy and execution for our Media and Entertainment vertical. • Drive annual and quarterly planning for these teams, including regular updates to leadership. • Drive operations for this team, including resource structure and allocation, engagement models, leading management meetings, setting KPIs and measuring progress. • Identify opportunities to grow and improve efficiencies; lead efforts to scale best practices. • Participate and help steer global/regional initiatives, as appropriate, and ensure that these initiatives are effectively rolled out to Media and Entertainment.
