We currently have an opportunity for a Quality Assurance Technician at our Portage la Prairie, MB location.  A Quality Assurance technician is responsible for ensuring raw material, in-process blends and finished products meet food safety and quality requirements. Responsibilities:Gather product samples within the manufacturing environmentConduct inspection & testing on finished product according to specificationsAnalyze product for characteristics such as moisture, weight, water hydration and particle size and apply all test information into the databaseInitiate, communicate and track all product non-conformances to the specificationCreate and release certificates of analysis for all customers upon requestCollect retained samples and maintain quality & food safety parametersOther duties as assigned Qualifications:Grade 12 or equivalentExcellent computer, written, documentation and verbal communication skillsMust be willing to work day and night shifts, as well as overtimePrevious experience in a food manufacturing environment is an asset Richardson International provides a comprehensive compensation package consisting of a competitive salary, pension, a flexible benefits plan, and training and career development opportunities. Interested candidates should click the Apply To This Position icon to apply online by April 18, 2025. Richardson International values diversity in the workplace.
