Our client, a provider of expert agronomy, agriculture retail, grain marketing and precision agriculture services in Ontario, is hiring an Operations Manager. The Operations Manager will be at the forefront of all operational aspects of the crop input and grain facility in Wellandport, Ontario. The Operations Manager will report to the Executive Vice-President. RESPONSIBILITIES:Lead, organize and support the operations and administrative team in duties, responsibilities and day-to-day operationsDevelop and manage budgets, monitor expenses and analyze financial dataEnsure operational processes are followed, record keeping, vehicle logs, bill of ladings, inventory counts and application recordsMentor and develop the team to foster a positive work environmentPromote quality, exceptional customer service and operational efficiency to exceed customer expectationsEstablish and execute a preventative maintenance plan to maintain plant assets at a high level as well as ensuring repairs are completed in an efficient mannerAssist in hiring and recruiting of full-time and seasonal staffCooperate with the leadership team to develop and implement the business strategy DESIRED PROFILE:5+ years of previous supervisory experience requiredAgronomy and or previous agricultural experienceProven leadership abilityService focused and detail orientedSafety leadershipProficient in various computer/ technology programsAbility to adapt and work in a fast-paced environment Interested in this Opportunity?
