Café Landwer is looking for One (1) Kitchen Manager, a full time, salaried culinary management position, leading full kitchen operations reporting directly to the restaurant General manager to perform the following duties: · Responsible to manage daily kitchen and culinary plan execution with excellence · Train, mentor and develop the skill and career of the assistant kitchen manager · Oversee the scheduling, hiring, and training of all culinary team with the support of assistant kitchen managers · Demonstrate strong leadership through effective communication and management of line operation during service periods · monitor daily kitchen cleanliness attacking any repair & maintenance concerns with regency · Manage full culinary program including prep, weekly inventory, ordering and ensuring there is never shortage of product · Facilitate ongoing training and education of menu items and program elements to both culinary and hospitality staff Terms of Employment: · Salary: $28.85 per hour ($60,000.00 per year); 40 hours per week · Permanent, Full-Time · Start date: immediately · Benefits: Extended Health Care; Company events; Paid time off; Store discount Skills Requirements: · Language: English · Education: no education requirement · Experience: minimum 6 months of experience in commercial food preparation Employer's Business address/Location of employment: · Cafe Landwer, 165 University Avenue, Toronto, ON M5H 3B8 Please Apply by Email: jobs@landwer.ca
