Work site environment · Floriculture production · Outdoors · Wet/damp · Odours · Hot Work setting · Staff accommodation provided Responsibilities Tasks · Clear and collect brush and debris from fields and other work areas · Consider water saturation, light and temperature when planning for germination · Cultivate on vertical farming system · Greenhouse cleaning · Level earth to fine grade specifications · Mixing fertilizer · Operate climate controls · Remove manually all suckers and water sprouts · Shear Christmas trees · Tie and secure plants · Weeding · Assist in pruning trees, shrubs and plants · Mix and prepare soils · Plant bulbs and seeds · Pot and re-pot plants · Transplant seedlings or rooted cuttings · Apply fertilizers · Report signs of insect or disease damage · Assist in grafting activities · Dig up wrapping rootballs of trees and shrubs · Water and tend to plants, lawns and/or gardens · Clean work area
