Location of Work: ON-560, Ostrom, Ontario P0M 1W0 Title of Position: Millwright (NOC 72400) Language: English Vacancies: 2 Type of Position: Permanent, full time Unionized: Yes Job Duties: · Repair equipment: conveyors, hydraulic and pneumatic components, automated systems, etc. (including welding). · Identify the cause of machinery breakdowns or malfunctions and do the necessary repairs. · Install/optimize/adjust all the equipment in the mill to maximize its efficiency. · Respond to emergencies when mechanical breakdowns affect operations. · Operate matching tools to manufacture parts. Skills Required: · Efficient and organized. · Analytical, conscientious and rigorous. · A team player with initiative. · High-performance but safety-oriented (compliance with applicable standards). · Ability to maintain an alert and attentive state. · Ability to complete heavy lifting, pushing, and pulling. · Ability to climb stairs and ladders. Experience Required: · Minimum 3 years of experience in industrial equipment maintenance. Education Required: · Vocational Diploma in industrial maintenance or College Diploma in industrial mechanics or equivalent experience.
