Our fun and hard-working team consists of more than 35 dedicated people serving a large trade area. Our major equipment lines are DeLaval, BouMatic, Bioret, Canarm, Holm & Laue, Valmetal, Rovibec, & Waikato. In order to better serve our growing customer base, we are looking for a dynamic and technically strong individual to join our team in the roll of installation technician. ResponsibilitiesResponsible for the installation of various types of farm automation equipment in livestock facilities.Responsible for matching required parts/product to specific job sites and completing appropriate paperworkProvide start-up and commissioning at our customer’s siteLoad and prepare tools and equipment for the assigned job, and tasks to be completed.Keep worksite clean and organizedQuickly adapt to different situations and assist customers in troubleshooting issuesParticipate in an on-call schedule including evening, early mornings and weekendsOther duties as assigned by the Project Manager QualificationsA successful applicant will be a team player with a strong understanding of the importance of customer satisfactionIndustry experience preferred but not required, experience in the dairy sector would be a valuable assetMechanically inclined and the ability to think criticallyThe ability to test and connect electrical components on various types of equipmentGeneral computer knowledge, good written and oral communication skills are essentialAbility to bring a high level of energy to our great team, and a desire to grow and develop your skillsValid D class licence requiredAgriculture or dairy experience is an asset What we offerGroup Health and Dental planGroup RRSP plan Travel paid to and from job siteAll training Interested in joining our Team?
