Grade and label incoming materials based on size, composition, and classification standards. -Monitor metal processing lines to ensure equipment functions properly and process parameters remain within acceptable limits. Observe and assess production flow to maintain efficiency and identify any abnormalities. -Take samples of products during and after processing for routine or laboratory analysis. Conduct tests to evaluate strength, density, durability, and compliance with technical specifications. -Inspect finished metal products to verify quality against defined standards, and address any non-conforming or defective items promptly. Recommend corrective actions to maintain quality consistency. -Advise supervisor or manager, or machine operators of any product deficiencies, deviations, or process issues. Support troubleshooting and resolution efforts. -Complete inspection and testing records, generate detailed reports, and provide documentation to support process and quality improvement initiatives. -Monitor adherence to safety and environmental standards during all stages of metal processing. Assist in identifying and addressing potential safety hazards and compliance issues.
