Marine & Powersport Technician (NOC: 72423) Number of Positions Available: 1 Term of Employment: Permanent Position, 44 hours per week - Overtime Available Location of Work: Kenora, Ontario Wage: $34.07 per Hour Language Requirements: English Benefits - Extended Medical & Dental - Disability & Life Insurance - Employee Discounts on Products and Services Responsibilities - Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems in boats, ATVs, ORVs, and snowmobiles. - Perform Pre-delivery Inspection (PDI) and assemble new powersport and marine products, rig boats, install accessories. - Perform unit repair and/or maintenance work as outlined on repair order with efficiency and accuracy. - Perform routine maintenance, including oil changes, tune-ups, and system checks. - Troubleshoot and repair fuel systems, ignition systems, and powertrains. - Install and test marine and powersport accessories such as GPS systems, lighting, and sound systems. - Conduct inspections to ensure equipment meets safety and performance standards. - Use diagnostic tools and software to identify and resolve engine and electrical issues. - Communicate with Service Department personnel to effectively manage jobs and customer communication. - Maintain accurate service records and reports. - Ensure compliance with manufacturer specifications, industry standards, and workplace safety regulations.
