O/A Motel 6 Huntsville has immediate opening for an experienced Maintenance person - building (NOC: 73201) at our location in Huntsville, Ontario. As a Maintenance person - building (NOC: 73201) you will perform some or all of the following duties: · Carry out routine maintenance tasks such as painting and drywall repairs. · Manage inventory of supplies and equipment, making minor purchases as necessary. · Address resident requests for minor repairs promptly. · Conduct daily inspections of building systems. · Make minor repairs to heating, cooling, ventilating, plumbing and electrical systems, and contact tradespersons for major repairs · Contact contractors for repairs and maintenance of the establishment · Move heavy furniture, equipment and supplies · Ensure that security equipment is working, and deal with concierge/security staff on security and access issues · Ensure that the assigned equipment is prepared and operational for the following day's work. · Supervise other workers. Qualifications: · Completion of secondary school is required. · 1-2 years of relevant experience is required.
