AGO Industries Inc. is looking for full time Industrial sewing machine mechanic at 500 Sovereign Rd. London, ON N5Y 4J9 Canada. There is 1 position available. Main duties are as follows but not limited to: · Read blueprints, diagrams and schematic drawings to determine work procedures · Install, align, dismantle and move industrial sewing machinery and related mechanical equipment according to layout plans · Operate hoisting and lifting devices · Inspect and examine industrial sewing machinery and equipment to detect and investigate irregularities and malfunctions · Install, troubleshoot, repair and maintain industrial sewing machinery and related mechanical equipment · Adjust machinery and repair or replace defective parts · Operate machine tools such as lathes and grinders to fabricate parts required during overhaul, maintenance or set-up of machinery · Clean, lubricate and perform other routine maintenance work on machinery · Construct foundations for machinery or direct other workers to construct foundations · Assemble machinery and equipment prior to installation using hand and power tools and welding equipment. Hours of work are Mon-Fri 40 hours/week. Pay is $36/hour (overtime pay after 44 hours/week). Successful candidates must speak English and have completed high school.
