· Accurate and timely preparation of monthly, quarterly and yearly accounting statements, financial position and budgetary updates; · Creation and maintenance of an annual budget, business plan and financial forecasts; · Managing the accounting operations including the review of journal entries, payroll, accounts payable, accounts receivable and statutory reporting; · Maintaining all records on company transactions, purchases, inventory, transfers and assets; · Establishing and monitoring internal controls to ensure that accounting activities are in accordance with established legal regulatory and company policies and procedures · Preparing & processing government remittances and reporting; · Ensuring payable invoices are processed to maximize discounts taken and paid within established parameters; · Documenting monthly bank reconciliations and processing deposits; · Preparing accurate balance sheets, income statements sheets, reconciliations and month end/ year-end adjustments to support the month end/year-end financial statements; · Analyz information pertaining to accounting, financial and administration, advising of anomalies and suggesting solutions.
