We are now seeking a passionate and dedicated Early Childhood Educator to join our team and support children's growth in a nurturing environment. Job Duties: · Develop and deliver age-appropriate programs to foster children's physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development. · Organize engaging activities, including storytelling, teaching songs, and creative games, to enhance learning and social skills. · Ensure a safe, nurturing, and inclusive environment that promotes children's well-being. · Guide children in developing proper habits related to eating, dressing, and personal hygiene. · Observe and assess children's behavior and development, identify any concerns, and prepare progress reports. · Communicate effectively with parents and colleagues to discuss children's growth, needs, and overall progress. · May mentor and supervise early childhood educator assistants. Qualification: · A diploma in early childhood education or a degree in child development is required · A valid BC Early Childhood Educator Certificate is mandatory · A clear criminal record check is required · Excellent communication and interpersonal skills · Passion and patience in interactions with children · Knowledge of the Montessori philosophy and its practical application is preferred.
