You’ll be a trusted partner to the early-stage ecosystem, focused on creating connectivity and increasing entrepreneurs’ probability of succeeding, while communicating your insights to key internal and external stakeholders. What you’ll do:Build relationships with entrepreneurs and key ecosystem stakeholdersAssess and activate internal FCC capabilities in support of improving outcomes for start-ups and entrepreneurs and their associated stakeholders (notably entrepreneurs and early-stage companies)Actively participate in partner events and programming, including public speaking, office hours and mentorshipBuild and manage reporting framework and deliverables with FCC senior leadership What we’re looking for:Confident communicator with strong analytical skillsAbility to connect and build business relationshipsSales and negotiation skills combined with sound judgmentSelf-starter who embraces changeOrganizational pro who can manage multiple priorities What you’ll need:A bachelor’s degree in business or commerce and at least seven years of related experienceExperience building and managing strategic relationshipsEstablished knowledge and understanding of the technology and innovation ecosystem, with specific familiarity with the venture capital, accelerator, and incubator landscape in Canada and internationallyA drive to help others achieve their goalsPassion for entrepreneurship, innovation and technology in agriculture
