Blue Whale Transport Canada Inc. is currently seeking 2 Permanent, Full time Diesel Mechanic to join their team as soon as possible. Main Duties: · Inspect bulldozers, cranes, graders and other heavy construction, agricultural, logging, and mining equipment to ensure optimal performance. · Utilize computerized and other testing equipment to diagnose issues, determining the extent of necessary repairs. · Make adjustment to equipment and undertake the replacement or repair of defective parts, components, or systems using both hand and power tools. · Verify the proper functionality of repaired equipment through testing, ensuring adherence to manufacturers specifications. · Perform routine maintenance tasks such as cleaning and lubrication on the equipment. · Provide service to attachments and working tolls, including harvesting and tillage equipment, blades, ploughs, winches and side booms. · Possess the capability to perform repair work on heavy truck.
