Location of Work: Bonaventure Mall, 4764 Regional Road 15, Chelmsford, ON P0M1L0 Title of Position: Cosmetician (NOC 63211) Language: English Vacancies: 1 Type of Position: Permanent, full time Job Duties: · Advise customers on the use of make-up and other beauty products and apply make-up to customers; may specialize in applying make-up to models or other individuals for special occasions. · Give facial and other body treatments using specialized products and techniques. · Skin lifting, chemical peel. · Advise on beauty products suited to customers' colouring and skin type. · Provide general information to customers on beauty products. · Sanitizing all instruments and equipment before each use. · Ensuring that workstations are kept clean and orderly. · Provide Customer Service. · Answer phone calls. · Book appointments through phone, email, and social media. · Take an interest in customers (e.g. chatting with them during the appointment and remembering their preferences). · Sell gift cards and products. · Up-sell treatments and beauty products, when appropriate. · Cleaning the store and equipment after each shift with the team. Skills Required: · Understanding of sanitation and sterilization standards. · Organized, reliable. · Client focus, initiative. · Attention to detail and manual dexterity.
