To ensure our systems remain up to date and operate smoothly, we are seeking a full-time, permanent Communication & Electronics Technician (NOC 22310) to join our team. ________________________________________ Position Details: · Position: Communication & Electronics Technician · Employment Type: Full-time, Permanent · Hourly Wage: $35.00 · Overtime Rate: $52.50/hour · Benefits: o Blend Group Benefits Plan for permanent employees o 14 days paid vacation per year ________________________________________ Key Responsibilities: · Maintain, troubleshoot, repair, and administer: o Local and wide area networks (LANs/WANs) o Wi-Fi access points o Mainframe networks and workstations o Internet connections and peripheral equipment · Maintain and support the resort's two-way radio communication systems · Collaborate with contractors to plan, estimate, and supervise the installation of communication infrastructure · Purchase, install, upgrade, and operate communication hardware and systems · Provide technical support and problem-solving for users · Develop safety policies and train staff on proper equipment use · Coordinate with telecom providers to ensure uninterrupted telephone and emergency response services · Perform regular system checks, maintenance, and record-keeping · Prepare reports and make recommendations to management regarding system upgrades and backup solutions
