Job Position: Cattle Procurement Administrator?Company: GK Jim Group of Companies?Location: Aldersyde, Alberta, (Near Okotoks Alberta)?The GK Jim Group of Companies is hiring a full-time permanent Cattle Procurement Administrator to join our Business? Administration Team. Reporting to the Accounting Team Lead, the Administrator?s key focus will be to review, verify and process cattle purchase invoices, within the group of companies.?GK Jim Group of Companies includes entities in the Agriculture Industry with a focus on Cattle procurement, production, and marketing. The GKJ Team is currently comprised of 25 individuals with expertise in accounting & tax, cattle buying,? transportation logistics working alongside of professionals with expertise in feedlot animal health and welfare, animal? production, agricultural economics, nutrition, applied research, statistical analysis, and economic modeling.????Job Duties:Review, verify and process vendor and customer invoices??Database inventory tracking and day-to-day data entry?Verification of cattle inventory procured to feedyard receiving reports?Complete ad-hoc internal reporting (management reports, queries, etc.) for all levels of staff Perform other duties as assigned??Employment Requirements:General accounting experience is requiredAgricultural experience would be considered an assetThorough understanding of Microsoft Excel is requiredCompletion of a recognized accounting certificate or diploma would be an assetProven ability to analyze issues, exercise good judgment and proactively respond to requestsExceptional degree of accuracy, attention to detail and organizational skillsExcellent time management, oral and written communicationProfessional, responsive, and a positive attitude is essentialAbility to work efficiently, independently and as part of a team?Terms of Employment:?Full time permanent position located at the GK Jim Group of Companies office near Aldersyde, Alberta (no public transit available)?Competitive salary based on experience and education?Extensive group benefit package??Schedule:?This is a 37.5hr, five days per week role?Hours of work are generally 8:00 ? 4:30pm Monday to Friday?If you are interested in this career opportunity, please send your resume and cover letter to careers@gkjimfarms.ca???
