The Bakery ("Pala") Lead supervises the production of bread, focaccia and pizza alla pala in Eataly's baking facility. Reports to the Bakery Production Manager. Duties: · Supervises and directs the bakery production staff · Assists the Bakery Production Manager with leading, training and developing bakery team members · Prepares pizzas according to specific recipes · Complies with all portion sizes, quality standards, department rules, policies and procedures · Maintains a clean and sanitary food production area according to Department of Health standards · Works towards mastering all shifts in pizza production · Assists Sales Associates if needed and engages with guests interested in learning about pizza production · Maintains and nurtures natural yeast and naturally leavened products · Ensures a clean and sanitary food production area · Performs cashier duties including processing returns, voids and exchanges when necessary · Documents, investigates, elevates and resolves employee and guest incidents · Performs other duties as required or assigned
