Responsibilities Tasks Determine type of services to be offered and implement operational procedures Balance cash and complete balance sheets, cash reports and related forms Conduct performance reviews Cost products and services Organize and maintain inventory Negotiate arrangements with suppliers for food and other supplies Participate in marketing plans and implementation Address customers' complaints or concerns Estimate ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards Supervise and co-ordinate activities of staff who prepare and portion food Establish work schedules Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales and wastage Supervise and check delivery of food trolleys Hire food service staff Supervision 11-15 people
