Agricultural Leader – Job DescriptionReports To: OwnershipEmployment Type: 7-month contract (April- October 31st, 2025)Address: 7234 Tremaine Rd. Milton, ON L9T 2X5 Summary:The Agricultural Leader will be a skilled and experienced individual who will oversee our day-to-day farming operations. With a strong understanding of the agricultural industry, the candidate will be responsible for coordinating and directing worker activities that include but are not limited to harvesting, supply maintenance, labour planning, and record keeping. The general hours will be Monday to Friday from 7am-3pm, with weekends and overtime as required. The role will be based in the Milton Region. Responsibilities:Responsible for ensuring the field is watered daily, and all irrigation systems is maintained.Managing the plant and seeds order, as well as all farm related supplies.Manage order picking crew and labour planning to meet business needs.Conducting quality control inspections of crops and fields to detect disease or infestation.Oversee the maintenance and irrigation of gardens, ensuring optimal growth conditions.Operate and maintain farm machinery.Maintaining records of all farming activities including financial and product.Ensuring compliance with all Food Safety regulations. Experience and QualificationsMust have experience in an agricultural leadership role.Knowledge of health and safety regulations in farming operations, including emergency response and risk management.Must have quality control experience in the produce industry.Experience in managing a team and coordinating activities.Ability to implement sustainable farming practices.Must be able to lift heavy equipment and work in all weather conditions.Must be comfortable working extended hours, including weekends to meet business requirements. Compensation$25.00/ hour Interested in joining our Team?
