Location: 1588 Boundary Crescent Nanaimo, BC V9S 5L5 Positions Available: 1 (One) Anticipated Start date: As soon as possible. Compensation: $34.62 per hour Work hours: 30 hours/week Terms: Permanent Full-Time Language of Work: English Job duties and Responsibilities: Analyze budget to boost and maintain the restaurant's profits Develop budget to determine cost of food, ingredients, alcohol, kitchen and cleaning supplies Modify food preparation methods and menu prices according to the restaurant budget Monitor revenues to determine labor cost Monitor staff performance Plan and organize daily operations Recruit staff Set staff work schedules Determine type of services to be offered and implement operational procedures Balance cash and complete balance sheets, cash reports and related forms Conduct performance reviews Enforce provincial/territorial liquor legislation and regulations Organize and maintain inventory Negotiate arrangements with suppliers for food and other supplies Participate in marketing plans and implementation Leading/instructing individuals Address customers' complaints or concerns Estimate ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation Skill Requirements: Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year How to Apply If you think you might be a good fit for this position, please EMAIL (Only) your recent resume with a cover letter to: vdewli@yahoo.com (Subject Line should be Food Services Manager).
