As a Mechanic Helper (NOC: 75119) you will perform some or all of the following duties: · Move tools, equipment and other materials · Hold stakes during surveying activities · Assist in splicing overhead and underground communications and electric power transmission cables · Signal safety procedures to other workers and to the general public · Provide assistance in repairing, maintaining and installing industrial machinery and equipment such as refrigeration, heating and air conditioning · Assist in repairing, maintaining and installing elevators, aircraft, railway cars, automobiles, trucks, buses, heavy equipment and motorcycles · Mix fertilizers, herbicides and pesticides and load mixture into airplane for aerial spraying · Move surveying tools to and from work area · Clean machines and immediate work areas · Perform miscellaneous labouring activities to help tradespersons, apprentices and other workers as directed Qualifications: · Completion of Secondary School is required. · On Job Training will be provided.
