Flynn Canada Ltd. is currently recruiting skilled Glazier Foreman (commercial) to fill 2 F/T vacancies in the Toronto and surrounding area (6435 Northwest Drive, Mississauga, Ontario, L4V 1K2). Other locations across Ontario will be required based on awarded projects. Responsibilities include: · Oversee all aspects of Glazing work including but not limited to safety, housekeeping, and workmanship quality · Prepare production and other reports · Supervise workers and projects · Co-ordinate and schedule activities · Recruit and hire workers and carry out related staffing actions, · Train or arrange for training, Set up machines and equipment, · Estimate costs and materials, · Ensure health and safety regulations are followed, · Read blueprints and drawings, Requisition or order materials, equipment and supplies, · Schedule and co-ordinate work on sites, · Establish work priorities and ensure procedures are followed and deadlines are met, · Communicate with other workers to co-ordinate the preparation and completion of work assignments, · Resolve work-related problems and prepare and submit progress and other reports, · Train staff/workers in job duties, safety procedures and company policies
