FAGOR AUTOMATION CANADA Business Address: 6380 Tomken Road suite 3, Mississauga, ON L5T 1Y4 Title of the Position: Electrical Engineering Technologist Main duties: · Design and develop power equipment and systems · Install equipment · Interpret blueprints or other instructions to plan methods or sequences of operation · Read blueprints or other instructions to determine work requirements · Service equipment · Supervise the building and testing of prototypes · Test power equipment and systems · Assist in preparing estimates, schedules, specifications and reports · Write specifications · Carry out applied research in fields of electrical and electronic engineering and physics · Conduct or supervise the installation, commissioning, and operation of electrical and electronic equipment and systems · Set up and operate specialized and standard test equipment to diagnose, test and analyze the performance of electrical and electronic components, assemblies and systems · Promote sales to existing clients · Consult with clients after sale to provide ongoing support · Diagnose faults or malfunctions using computerized and other testing equipment to determine extent of repair required · Train customers' staff in the operation and maintenance of equipment · Assess client's needs and resources to recommend the appropriate goods or services · All other relevant tasks Terms of Employment: Permanent Full Time (35 hrs per week) Language of Work: English Wage: $34.50/hour Location of Work: 6380 Tomken Road suite 3, Mississauga, ON L5T 1Y4
