Work Location Information: Various locations Work Site Environment: Noisy, Dusty Personal Suitability: Dependability, Judgement, Client focus, Team player, Reliability Additional Skills: Work at heights, on scaffolding or swing stages Weight Handling: Up to 13.5 kg (30 lbs) Work Setting: Residential, Commercial Drywall Finisher Specific Skills: · Measure, cut, fit, and install drywall sheets on walls and ceilings. · Tape over joints using taping machine and embed tape in compound. · Position and secure sheets to metal or wooden studs. · Cut and install metal corner beads to protect exterior corner. · Press paper and filling joints, holes and cracks with compound using a towel and broad knife. · Prepare panels by sawing, drilling, or cutting holes in panels for electrical outlets, air-conditioning units, and plumbing. · Spread sealing compound between boards or panels or over cracks, holes, nail heads, or screw heads, using trowels, broad knives, or spatulas. · Apply additional coats to fill in holes and make surfaces smooth. · Remove extra compound after surfaces have been covered sufficiently.
