Working conditions & physical requirements: · Conducting aircraft maintenance on the hangar floor, ramp areas, and around running aircraft. · Remote work away from base required periodically · Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while working under pressure with tight deadlines Job responsibilities: · Inspect, maintain, test, repair, wash, clean, and reassemble aircraft and its components. · Fixing electrical circuits. · Verifying communication, radar, and electronic instrument systems. · Assembling aircraft airframes. · Conducting routine preflight inspections and/or fueling aircraft as well as outfitting the aircraft with specific equipment in order to ensure that aircraft are fit to fly. · Maintaining data records of all maintenance work. · As per requirement, request to order parts and supplies. · Following and adhering to all Gemini safety and security procedures, manuals and the Canadian Aviation Regulations (CAR's). · Maintain a positive attitude and professional appearance at all times · Keep all tools, equipment, workspaces and facilities clean and tidy at all time · Participate in any meetings as directed from Gemini Management · Participate in Gemini Heli's safety program by reporting hazards, incidents, accidents, inspections and attending meetings. · Conduct inspections and maintain refueling equipment, including checklists, tanks, pumping systems and filters. · Maintain the hangar(s) in a neat and orderly manner daily. · Build and maintain workbenches, storage stands, and/or any other required equipment Key Competencies: The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required to be successful in this role, but are not necessarily all inclusive. · Proven ability to motivate, inspire, and coach team members · Experience successfully maintaining a positive attitude while working in a team environment with competing priorities · Ability to maintain confidentiality with individual interactions with team members · Excellent verbal and written communication skills. · Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict resolution · Ability to prioritize tasks and to delegate them when appropriate. · Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality. · Knowledge of aviation laws and regulations · Proficient with computers and related software. · Mechanical aptitude and problem solving · Capable of working independently with minimal direction · Valid driver's license required · The individual will be responsible to ensure the continued serviceability of all operational aircraft and related areas, and will be well organized regarding safety, work habits and communication skills · Candidate will work well within a team and have a positive attitude On site Work must be completed at the physical location.
