At Richardson, we are committed to enhancing our facilities and services and investing in our people and communities. Working with Richardson opens the door to a world of possibility.  We currently have an opportunity for a Crush/Seed Cleaning Operator at our Yorkton, SK location.  Crush/Seed Cleaning Operators are responsible for segregating and cleaning all canola according to quality specifications, and operating the crush plant including all ancillary equipment. Responsibilities:Operate and monitor processing equipment, including lubrication and maintenance requirementsCoordinate daily operational tasks and activities with other departmentsPerform housekeeping duties in the crush/seed cleaning areaParticipate in process optimization initiativesUnderstand and comply with all workplace health and safety requirements, company policies and procedures and general workplace rulesParticipate in the day to day health and safety program by working in a safe manner at all times:Always using the required personal protective equipmentEnsuring that authorized work is completed safelyUtilizing required controls to prevent risk of exposure to hazardsParticipating actively in incident investigations, training, and other health and safety initiativesReporting all unsafe acts and conditions and all incidents, near misses and workplace injuries/illnesses as per company procedureOther duties as assigned Qualifications:Must have grade 12 or equivalent combined with excellent written, documentation and verbal communications skillsMust have a good work performance and attendance record and be willing to work rotating shift schedule, weekends and overtimeExperience in a Manufacturing Plant environment or experience operating grain cleaners would be considered an asset Richardson International provides a comprehensive compensation package including competitive salary, benefits, pension plan and an opportunity to join a successful and dynamic organization. Interested candidates should click the Apply to this Position icon to apply online by February 4, 2025. Richardson International values diversity in the workplace.
