Business Address (Work Location): 68 Brigantine Dr. Coquitlam, British Columbia, V3K 6Z6 Job Title: Wholesale Buyer Wage: $34.62 per hour Working Hours: 30 hours per week (full-Time) Benefit(s): 4% vacation pay / Extended Medical Insurance after 6 months of employment Job vacancy: 1 Full-Time job Job duties you will be responsible for: - Ensure all materials are purchased on time, to specification, and at the best price available. - Participate in the selection and development of products and collections. - Assist in market analysis and decision-making. - Examine, select, order, and purchase at the most favorable price merchandise consistent with quality, quantity, specification requirements and other factors. - Analyze assigned product categories and propose appropriate action plan. - Negotiate with suppliers and build long term relationships. - Make sure stock is rotated effectively and waste minimize. - Develop and maintain a supplier database to strengthen the procurement process. - Liaise with suppliers on quality problems in conjunction with company quality standards.
