Terms of Employment: Permanent, Full-time (40 hours/week) Wage: $40 per hour Located in Coquitlam, BC, Choicelle Hardware inc. is currently looking for Finishing Carpenter to join their team on their projects throughout Lower Mainland area. Duties and Responsibilities: · Reading blueprints and specifications to determine project requirements and lay-outs in conformance to building codes · Perform finish and trim carpentry work according to plans and specifications · Measure, cut, and install hardware and millwork for doors, windows, ceiling pan-els, staircases, decking, baseboards, etc. · Erect scaffolding or ladders as needed to work in heights · Supervise carpenter apprentices · Efficiently collaborate with other carpenters and journeymen to complete projects · Troubleshoot and repair issues with building components and equipment · Follow established regulations and advocate for safety on each worksite
