Position: Wholesale establishment manager Wages: CAD$41.00/hour Types: Full-time, Permanent Working hours: 30- 40 hours/week Benefits: 4% of vacation pay Job Duties: · Plan, direct and evaluate the operations of wholesales department · Manage staff and assign duties · Study market research and trends to determine consumer demand, potential sales/buying volumes, effect of competitors on sales, etc. · Determine merchandise to be sold, price and credit policies · Source and negotiate with vendors to procure merchandise · Develop and implement marketing strategies · Plan budgets and monitor revenues and expenses · Evaluate and improve customer service and respond to customer requests and issues · Address staffing requirements, including the hiring and retention of staff Job Requirements: · Completion of secondary school; · 2-3 years of related retail or wholesale sales experience at increasing levels of responsibility required. · A university degree or college diploma in business administration or other field related to the product or service being sold an asset.
