Benefits: Dental and extended medical Terms of employment: Permanent, Full-time Start date: As soon as possible Language: English Education: Minimum high school diploma Experience: 2 years of experience as a Barber with supervisory experience Personal Suitability: Reliability, team player, effective interpersonal skills, client focus, dependability Job Description: · Coordinate, assign and review the work of barbers · Establish work schedules and procedures and coordinate activities with other work units or de-partments · Resolve work-related problems and prepare and submit progress and other reports · Hire and train staff in job duties, safety procedures and company policies · Requisition supplies and materials · Ensure smooth operation of computer systems, equipment and machinery, and arrange for maintenance and repair work · Monitor quality and production levels · Perform the same duties as workers supervised - cut and trim hair according to client's instruc-tions or preferences, and other barbering duties Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Fast-paced environment, repetitive tasks, attention to detail, standing for extended periods, physically demanding, Risks of slip and fall injuries, use of electrical tools, use of sharp objects, use of chemical products.
