Position Info: · Position: Infants' Daycare Worker · Terms of employment: Full-time, Permanent · Wage: $27.00~$35.00/hour (depending on experience) · Working Hours: 30~40 hours/week · Number of Positions: 2 · Work Location: 51265 Yale Road, Chilliwack, BC V0X 1X0 Benefits: · 10 days paid vacation per year or 4% vacation pay Job Duties: · Lead daily activities for infants and toddlers, including storytelling, reading, and developmentally appropriate play · Develop and implement child-care programs that support the physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development of children · Provide essential care such as bathing, diapering, and feeding to support the hygiene and comfort of infants and toddlers · Maintain a safe, clean, and nurturing environment that supports the overall well-being of all children · Assist children in developing essential self-care skills, including eating, dressing, and toilet training · Supervise the activities of other early childhood educators and assistants, offering guidance and support as needed · Build positive and collaborative working relationships with other employees · Monitor children's behavior and development, identifying early signs of potential concerns and preparing detailed reports for parents, guardians, or supervisors · Communicate regularly with parents and attend staff meetings to discuss each child's progress, interests, and any challenges they may be facing Job requirements: · Language: English · Experience: Experience is an asset · Education: College Certificate or diploma in early childhood education is required · Certificate: First Aid Certificate & CPR Certificate, E.C.E.
