The position of "Metal Roofer Apprentice" is a skilled labour role, in which the Metal Roofer Apprentice works within a team, reporting to the site foreman to lay a variety of roofs and siding on industrial, institutional and commercial buildings. Responsibilities include: · Install, repair and replace of Architectural Metal Flashing and Cap Flashings · Install, repair and replace of Architectural Cladding applications, including Steel Roofing and Wall finishes, Composite Aluminum Wall finishes, Architectural Rain Screen Systems, Composite Aluminum Wall panels and Custom Zinc or Copper applications · Set up and use rigging and hoisting equipment · Install, fabricate and repair metal roofs using hand and power tools · Install Architectural sheet metal products according to specifications and building codes
