Location:: 2515 50 Ave SE, suite Unit 202 Calgary, AB, T2B 3R8 Workplace information:: On site Salary:: $36.00 hourly / 40 hours per Week Terms of employment:: Permanent employment, Full time, Day, Early Morning, Evening, Morning, Night, Overtime, Weekend Start date:: Starts as soon as possible vacancies:: 10 vacancies Job Description · Operating and driving trucks with three axles to transport goods and materials as required · Safely loading, handling, and transporting goods and heavy cargo safely · Recording both materials picked up and delivered, performing pre-trip, en-route and maintain their vehicles before driving, updating lines, routes,total mileage and breaks every day · Reporting any accidents or delays to supervisors, ensuring inspection and repairs to keep their vehicle safe and legal to operate · Obeying traffic laws and following established traffic and transportation procedures · Verifying the contents of inventory loads against shipping papers · Performing emergency repairs like changing tires or installing light bulbs, fuses, tire chains and spark plugs · Reading maps and following written and verbal geographic directions; reporting mechanical problems with vehicle
