Salary: $22.50/Hourly Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent Language: English Start Date of Employment (Approx.): As soon as possible Minimum Education: High School Positions Available: 1 NOC Group: Chemical technologists and technicians- 22100 NOC Job Title: Quality Control Technician- Food Processing Job Location: 22100 136 Avenue Maple Ridge, British Columbia V4R 2P7 Canada Job Description: · To inspect the raw materials and final products to maintain compliance with the company's quality-levels · To undertake sampling procedures and examinations to verify quality standards · Assist with training and instruction for production operators in QA measuring procedures · To implement a series of quality control measures during the whole production process and assist in the analysis of the packaged products · Maintain accurate documentation of quality inspection results · Conduct necessary quality inspections to check quality of mushrooms using proper equipment and techniques · To monitor the whole process of product development beginning from its production, and storage to its final delivery as well as conducting the grading and labeling of raw materials and final products · To enforce hygiene, health, and safety measures to keep up with regulations and procedures · Ensure production personnel are following proper procedure for ongoing production checks · Development and maintenance of quality procedures and work instructions Requirements: · Completion of Secondary school is required. · A post-secondary education or/and two years of work experience in the related field is required.
