Business Address: 44 Gerrard Street East, Toronto, Ontario M5B 1G3 Title of the Position: Architectural Technologist Main duties: · Create three-dimensional (3-D) models with computer-aided design (CAD) · Create two-dimensional (2-D) drawings with computer-aided design (CAD) · Analyze technical documents and reports · Assist in supervising construction projects · Prepare working drawings · Estimate costs and materials · Construct architectural and display models · Assist in design development · Prepare presentation graphics and drawings · Analyze user's requirements, and design and develop system architecture and specifications · Conduct research into cost, properties of production materials and methods of production · Analyze the intended use of products and user preferences · Supervise technicians, technologists and other engineers · Consult with client, engineers or production specialists to establish product requirements · Prepare estimates of labour and/or material costs · Supervise, monitor and inspect mechanical installations and construction projects · All other relevant tasks Terms of Employment: Permanent Full Time (30 hrs per week) Language of Work: English Wage: $34.10/hour Location of Work: 44 Gerrard Street East, Toronto, Ontario M5B 1G3.
