Capilano Medical Centre is seeking a Family Physician in Edmonton, Alberta. Job Type: 3-year term, Full-time Hours: 40 hours per week Location: Edmonton, Alberta Salary: Fee for service $400,000-$600,000 (estimated) Anticipated Start Date: September 15, 2025 Duties: · Provide health care services in a competent, conscientious, and professional manner; · Create patient-specific health programs that make use of historical data; · Monitor and adapt individualized health programs over time; · Provide comprehensive wellness examinations, take patients histories, order laboratory tests, X-rays and other diagnostic procedures; · Prescribe and administer medications and treatments; · Schedule and administer follow-up examination; · Refer patients to other providers for specialized treatment; · Coordinate care with other medical professionals; · Care for the whole patient, including mental and emotional concerns; · Build long-term relationships with patients; · Advise patients in health management and disease prevention; · Consult with the team as needed, attend meetings as requested.
