We are currently seeking a skilled and detail-oriented full-time permanent Accounting Supervisor (Noc: 12011) to join our team. Position: Bookkeeping Supervisor Location: 26103 30A Ave, Langley, BC - V4W 2X6 Employment Type: Full-Time, Permanent Wages: CAD $36.50 per hour (35 hours per week) Overtime: 1.5 times the base salary after 35 hours per week Vacation: 4% of gross salary Job Responsibilities: · Assist staff members in preparing monthly and quarterly accounting reports. · Analyze financial statements to ensure accuracy and compliance with accounting standards. · Identify potential cash flow issues and financial discrepancies. · Collaborate with department heads to ensure budgets are maintained. · Prepare tax returns accurately and ensure timely tax payments. · Supervise and guide accounting clerks, bookkeepers and junior accounting staff. · Provide regular financial updates to management. · Resolve work-related issues efficiently. · Organize necessary training for workers as needed. Qualifications & Requirements: · Diploma or degree in accounting, finance, or a related field. · Minimum of 2 years of bookkeeping or accounting experience. · Strong knowledge of accounting principles and tax regulations. · Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite.
