The company is looking to hire 1 full-time Fence Installer to join its growing team. Position Details: Company Name: Alpha Pro General Contracting Ltd. Company Location: 32153 Rogers Ave, Abbotsford, BC, V2T 5B6 Position: Fence Installer Number of positions: 1 Terms of employment: Full-Time, Permanent Salary: $28.00 per hour Work location(s): Various Locations in Abbotsford (BC) and other Lower Mainland areas in BC as per the company's contracts with its clients Job duties: · Read blueprints, drawings, or work order specifications to plan layout and installation procedures. · Measure and lay out fence lines and mark posthole positions, following instructions, drawings, or specifications · Dig post holes in which the fencing will be positioned. · Set metal or wooden posts in upright positions in postholes and align posts using plumb bobs or levels. · Mix and pour concrete around bases of posts, or tamp soil into postholes to embed posts · Join, raise, and secure segments of the fence in place. · Install, repair, and service fencing and decks using hand and power tools. Position Requirements: · Completion of Secondary school would be considered an asset but not mandatory. · Minimum 6 months of installation work experience in a similar field is required. · Ability to communicate in English.
