Job Title: Drywall Installer Job location: All over lower mainland area according to contracts/projects. Wages: $29.50/hour Job Type: Full Time, Permanent Start Date: As soon as possible Job Duties: Measure, cut and install drywall sheets and various types of ceiling systems. Position and secure sheets to metal or wooden studs or joists. Fit metal corner beads to protect exterior corners. Fabricate and install suspended metal ceiling grids and place in panels to form acoustical and coffered ceilings. Fill joints, nail indentations, holes and cracks with joint compound using a trowel and broad knife. Apply successive coats of compound and sand seams and joints. Smooth out the excess compound and allow the coat to dry. Tape over joints using a taping machine and embed tape in compound
