Learn more about our extraordinary teams building inspiring projects in our Impact Report.  Pluto Train 2 is the expansion of a second LNG train at the existing Pluto LNG onshore facility near Karratha in Western Australia run by Woodside Energy.  Pluto Train 2 will process Scarborough gas and have an LNG capacity of ~5 million tonnes per annum. As part of the construction of Pluto Train 2, additional domestic gas infrastructure will be installed to increase capacity to ~225 Terajoules per day.    Woodside Energy has selected Bechtel to deliver the Engineering, Procurement, Construction and Commissioning scope of work for Pluto Train 2.  Woodside Energy is Australia's leading natural gas producer, and Bechtel is excited to be working with this key customer to help meet the increasing global demand for LNG as a transitional energy source. We are seeking a Human Resources Administrator to join our Pluto Train 2 Project, located in Karratha Western Australia on a 3:1 roster.  This would suit a recent graduate or an efficient Administrator who has passion for helping a busy project team. The role will report to the HR Manager. Major Responsibilities:  Proven ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive staff professional personnel files, queries, and information. Coordinating mobilisations to the Project including scheduling medicals, updating BrassRing, providing onboarding documents, assigning buddies, and sending welcome emails. Performs data entry into the staffing plan system known as SmartStaff, updating SAP, processing leave documents inline with the projects Rotational Leave Procedure. Assists in maintaining filing system for project files. Performs a variety of human resources operations activities in one or several of these areas:  Assist with Employee Services/Data Input/Administration. May assist with employees to answer and resolve their inquiries/issues on HR policies. Assists in administrative tasks as needed such as data audits, record keeping, weekly and regular reporting, etc.  Collects and assembles data or information for personnel reports. Assists in process improvement opportunities to drive operational efficiencies. Processes SAP transactions, employee transactions, and compensation actions.  Other administrative tasks as designated by the Human Resources Manager. Education and Experience Requirements: Preferable experience in working FIFO, but not essential. Intermediate Microsoft office suite experience. Strong administrative coordination experience. Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Right to live and work in Australia without employer sponsorship. Excellent written and oral communication skills. Demonstrated teamwork skills. Strong Microsoft office software skills and good computer literacy – outlook/calendar management. Strong event coordination and management skills. Demonstrated ability to work with various stakeholders, including site management and project customers. ​​​​​​​ Working Rights in Australia without employer sponsorship are required. We are a 2024 Circle Back Initiative Employer & commit to respond to every applicant.  Additional information: This position has responsibilities that include exposure to changing environmental, construction, and operational conditions, which may include: extensive walking in and around an active construction and/or operations site, climbing ladders, working at heights from work platforms including scaffolding, and mobile elevating work platforms (MEWPs), use of personal fall arrest equipment, walking and working on uneven surfaces, working in constricted and/or confined spaces, variable work shifts (e.g., day, night, weekends, 1st, 2nd, 3rd shift, etc.), and work in inclement weather. Some lifting may be required. Candidate must be able to use standard issued Personal Protection Equipment (PPE) required for each assigned task (i.e. respirator, harness, life vest, hearing protection, etc.). The Pluto Train 2 Project is a Major Hazard Facility meaning this is a non-smoking site and no tobacco products – i.e. cigarettes, vapes, lighters, tobacco - are permitted to be brought to the site. This position is available to both local and non-local personnel. For non-locals (FIFO/DIDO), the working roster is 3/1.
