While WFH/Hybrid options are available, it is essential that the successful applicant maintains a presence at Blackburn in line with our hybrid working model.  Reporting to the Senior Program Manager Cyber Security, responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to: Provide specialist security advice and analysis across a diverse range of security initiatives, supporting the implementation of relevant security controls and the uplift of Ambulance Victoria's cyber security posture Provide authoritative and well-considered security analysis and advice in support of high-value, complex information and cyber security uplift initiatives – spanning cloud, infrastructure, networks and end-use computing Provide technical input and expert advice to improve the design and application of relevant cyber security controls, including the ASD Essential Eight, CIS, ISM and NIST Leverage a broad range of security tools, platforms and services, including Microsoft Azure and Microsoft 365 security technologies to delivery security outcomes for AV Maintain awareness of and compliance with organisational and IT standards, stakeholder communications, project management and change management policies and guidelines to seamlessly deliver security outcomes Provide technical leadership in automation, repeatability and continuous improvement to ensure AV can deploy and maintain quality and ever improving enterprise security infrastructure  The ideal candidate has: A postgraduate degree in business, technology, computing or equivalent or relevant industry certification with extensive relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of training and high-level relevant experience Relevant Information Security industry certification such as CISSP, CISM, GIAC, CEH, SABSA or related relevant experience working in a cyber security Microsoft Azure and/or Microsoft 365 Security Certifications (highly desirable) Significant experience working in the cyber security field Strong analytical and problem-solving skills  Please see the position description for a full list of position responsibilities and key selection criteria.  Working at Ambulance Victoria As a valued member of AV you will enjoy a professional working environment that recognises the importance of work/life balance.
